The Bigger Picture

Tying the knot means leaving single-hood and investing your time, effort, future, and money with someone for the rest of your life. It's one heck of a ride and a challenging test of patience, forgiveness, understanding, and faith.

Vintage as the New Fad

Every wedding has its story--and most couples, nowadays, prefer to retell stories not only known to them but are quite prosaic to many. For instance, many weddings are patterned after certain themes. Themes that are very common and easy to relate to.

Indeed, vintage and rustic weddings have emerged victorious in this sense. For one, the old classy theme makes every occasion extra fab.

After much thought, Francis and I decided on turning our special celebration into one heck of a vintage-DIY wedding. Yes, vintage with a kick of our style!

Precisely, we want this vintage feel:

Seeing everything pastel-like makes me wanna jump up and down!  The vintage touch is remarkably warm. It doesn't look grandiose and fake (in my honest opinion). It's very lax and off the bat. No need to elaborate the details or adorn everything with expensive items.

Old and used materials can be very inspiring wedding pieces:

Vintage is S.U.N.N.Y. like me and him. Vintage-rustic, however, is a bit difficult to pull off. You need the machination of Midas to turn everything exciting and fascinating! But with little fairy godmothers in the form of your friends, you'll have more than the necessary tools for perfecting your dreamy wedding.
