  1. Introduce both families and officially announce the engagement.

STATUS: pending > informal announcement only 
[Deadline: March 2012 > everything must be set first before we discuss with them to be able to answer any inquiry for the parents]

  2. Find out who pays for what and start a budget.

STATUS: gather all savings (half and half) 
[Deadline: Feb. 2012, last week > 213 Wedding Challenge means 100k off-the-bat budget]

  3. Create a guest list and manage it.

STATUS: incomplete draft {immediate family, closest friends, and sponsors only > pegged at 100pax} 
[Deadline: Jan. 2012, last week]

   4. Compare calendars and select a tentative date.

STATUS: pegged at January 18, 2013 (our 9th anniv celebration) 
[Deadline: Jan. 2012, last week]

  5. Choose your wedding party.

STATUS: entou list not yet complete (probably no bridesmaid) 
[Deadline: Jan. 2012, last week]

  6. Create a wedding website to share your engagement.

STATUS: DONE {our humble wedsite}

  7. Select a wedding coordinator.

STATUS: friends only because of budget constraints and MOI. Chosen organizers: Jassen, KZ, and Eunice (Asiel for consultations and Chu for approval w/ the participation of Ayen)

  8. Decide if you want premarital counseling.

STATUS: a must, but no date set yet 
[Deadline: March 2012]

  9. Start looking photos of wedding dresses for inspiration.

STATUS: not yet cleared, scouting (vintage, rustic, cheap) 
[Deadline: Feb. 2012, last week]

  10. Begin thinking about where you want to honeymoon.

STATUS: a must, but no date set yet - budget outside the wedding financial pie 
[Deadline: March 2012, last week]

 11. Visit and book your reception site, and arrange for parking.

STATUS: scouting w/ prospect {Makati Parks and Garden} 
[Deadline: Feb. 2012 - booking]

  12. Visit and book your ceremony location, including rehearsal time.

STATUS: scouting w/ prospect {Sts. Peter and Paul, Guadalupe EDSA Church} 
[Deadline: Feb. 2012 - booking]

  13. Create a save-the-date guest list. 

STATUS: not yet cleared [Deadline: March 2012, last week]

14. Research: Visit bridal shows; look at magazines, bridal guides and the internet to help you come up with ideas for your wedding.

STATUS: on-going [Deadline: March 2012, last week - finalized plan, theme, and budget]

15. Set-up catering budget

STATUS: Chu is working on the quotation, food tasting etc. [Deadline: March 2012]
